Animal ID: 1-2-2015Miss Pickles (female)

Pug    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Miss Pickles was rescued from the St Louis area. She and 8 other dogs were living outside together. She enjoys scratches and plays with soft toys. She will stare at you if she has to go outside. She sleeps in her crate where she can see her human. She is fine with other dogs but really doesn't want to play with them. She instead will try to push them out of the way so she can have their scratches too. Miss Pickles does need to take glucosamine and eats prescription food. Her back legs don't work well, so floors with carpeting or rugs are best for her. Miss Pickles is a happy girl who has spurts of energy and lots of love to give.

Bubba is pretty well potty trained. He has had a couple of pooping accidents since going to his foster home, so he is a work in progress. He was neglected and kept inside the house all day. Animal ID: 1-11-15Francis (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Francis was surrendered to us by a shelter in the Delta. The shelter was full and the volunteer feared that she would be put down because of her age and because she needed some medical treatment. She had cherry eyes repaired, a dental and three growths removed. None of the growths were suspicious, so no further treatment is needed. Otherwise, Francis is healthy and ready for a loving foster or forever home. Since we haven't had her very long, we don't know how she is with children, but she is great with adults. Will potty while leashed and rides well in a car. She whines a bit if crated in the car.
