    Mr. Yamaguchi is around 2-3 years old, under 12 lbs., so cute you want to pinch his cheeks, and he is very loving. He's good with other dogs...a bit of the macho attitude at first with some but it quickly turns to a playful game of chase or wrestling. We got him out of the Camarillo Shelter after another group brought it to our attention that Mr. Yamaguchi and several other small Chi mixes were scheduled to be euthanized due to space. He walks great on the leash and has a little strut that will make you laugh. We haven't seen him with cats but most cats would be bigger than him so I would guess he would be okay with a dog savvy cat.

Pugs are smart and sensitive and need gentle, consistent training. Pugs are wonderful with children and other pets. Pugs are very well-mannered with guests. This breed needs to be with people and likes to be the center of attention. Pugs do fine in an apartment. This breed needs to be sheltered from extreme temperatures.
