Rescue Me ID: 16-02-03-00391JB (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lake Forest, IL. This is not my dog, but I can put you in touch with owner who states: I have a ten year old Puggle named JB. I never thought that I'd be one of those people in this situation, but I am. Recently, I took a new job which requires me to work long days so JB is by himself during the day. Additionally, my personal life situation has changed. I do not want to drop JB off at a shelter where I do not know what his future will be. I would like to find JB a home where is not alone so much and where he is able to get more attention than I am able to give him. He loves children and gets along well with other dogs. Appi

Hi, my name is Velma. I am a sweet pup from a litter of 4. My family was saved from a shelter with our mom. I have tons of energy, and can be a little bossy at times. My foster mom says that is the terrier in me. I love to play and run around. I get along with other dogs, but I do chase cats. (I just don't know what to do with them) I have had my first set of shots and have been microchipped. I'm just looking for my forever home.

Rescue Me ID: 16-01-23-00446Daisy (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Daisy is a very loving, cuddly, and great dog! She was classified as a puggle when she was rescued, but the vet seems to think that she has some pitbull in her because of her muscle stature and temperament. She is not good with other dogs and is very territorial. But just because she's a good protector. She is my parents dog, and because she has gotten in fights with their other dog, they are planning on putting her down if I can't find someone to take her. She would probably need to be trained well. And she has not been on a walk in over a year unfortunately. She really just needs to be trained and loved. She would be perfect for an elderly ... (Read More)family needing a companion, or for a young couple. I have no control over her being put down, I am just trying to make sure that it doesn't happen, so please no negative comments towards me. Contact me if you're interested or have more questions! I am willing to drive a little ways to meet someone to give her a perfect new home. (Less)

Tyson - Neutered Male - 6 y/o Shar-Pei Pug Mix *COURTESY POST* Poor Tyson has had a rough life so far. Initially purchased at a pet store, he was badly neglected by his first owner and ended up at a shelter. He was rescued by his current family with whom he's lived for the past four years, but unfortunately a family member developed severe dog allergies so once again Tyson is seeking a forever home. While a loyal and devoted family dog, Tyson is fearful around unknown people, and may nip at strangers who attempt to pet him, either in his home or while off-leash at a dog park. Tyson is athletic and needs a home with a fenced-in yard; an ... (Read More)active family who like to take him for walks would also be great to help work at his socialization. He prefers a home with no other pets. Tyson is neutered, housebroken, up to date on shots, and comes with his vet records. Please help Tyson get another chance at the happiness he so richly deserves! Tyson is currently living in Rockford, Illinois (Less)
