This adorable little boy came to us as a stray so we estimate his age to be 1 year old, he weighs just 17.7 lbs. He is so unusual and cute! Psssst..He whispered to me that he is really hoping he gets picked and gets a new family all his own very soon. He is up to date on shots, gets along well w/his kennel mates and he will be neutered prior to his adoption.

They really ought to have Breed type - 'Dunno', 'Mutt', 'Great American Shelter Dog' or simply- I don't know . But here goes- our best pick! Bugzy is a happy 4 year old neutered male. Bugzy would be happiest in a home where snuggles abound and his new people want to show them off to all their friends. Bugzy seems to do well with most other dogs. But he is pretty particular who is buddies are going to be- so bring your mutt for a meet and greet in the play yard! Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter, 1420 Brookside Ave. 1.5 miles off I-5. in Merlin. Oregon. hours: Tues-Fri 10-4pm, Saturday 10-3. Please visit the shelter or if need special arrangements for meet and greet please email me. If you have a dog- encourage you to bring also. Staff may be unable to answer calls right away, so you may contact me via email if you cannot get to shelter right away! You are encouraged to make your best effort to go during normal business hours. Note: Often times we are asked 'what about cats'?' Please be advised that we cannot guarantee a dog's behavior with a cat; sometimes the dog is fine with a cat- but cat not so happy about his canine intruder! Pug Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. The Pug is a small, stocky, short-haired dog with a wrinkled face and curled tail. Pugs are spirited and pleasant. Pugs are smart and sensitive and need gentle, consistent training. Pugs are wonderful with children and other pets. Pugs are very well-mannered with guests. This breed needs to be with people and likes to be the center of attention. Pugs do fine in an apartment. This breed needs to be sheltered from extreme temperatures.
