Update! one puglett left. Bruno. These 3 pugletts 2 boys and a girl were brought in the the shelter as the family could not afford the care. Out of a litter of 7 4 were healthy and these three. We suspect are also deaf. Adoption of these wee little ones will require a dedicated adopter prepared to meet any future medical need. They are 9 weeks old and fit in the palm of your hand!b Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter, 1420 Brookside Ave. 1.5 miles off I-5. in Merlin. Oregon. hours: Tues-Fri 10-3pm Saturday 10-3. Please visit the shelter or if need special arrangements for meet and greet please email me. If you have a dog- encourage you to bring also. Staff may be unable to answer calls right away, so you may contact me via email if you cannot get to shelter right away! You are encouraged to make your best effort to go during normal business hours. Note: Often times we are asked 'what about cats'?' Please be advised that we cannot guarantee a dog's behavior with a cat; sometimes the dog is fine with a cat- but cat not so happy about his canine intruder! If we know emphatically that a dog could take issue with a cat, livestock or chickens- will be stated in body of biography! I am not an employee of the Josephine County Animal Shelter. [Read About Natural Seizure Care] Our pug Jesse James is in need of a new home. Jesse is a great older dog, but unfortunately does not like to be around little children. With our family expanding soon, we need to find him a kid free environment to call home. He loves attention, taking naps, and enjoys to go for walks whenever possible. Because of his mature 13 years, he has had several teeth removed, so has to stick with soften foods to make it easier for his mouth. He does have a seizure disorder, but it is kept under control by medication he takes twice a day (we highly recommend a Costco membership, as the prescription cost there is a fraction of what it is at a normal pharmacy). He is up to date on all his shots and license and is ready to find a new home! (Less)
