Rescue Me ID: 16-10-12-00452Mabel (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Arthritis, Blind

Mable was taken from a neglect situation and put in a rural shelter. We rescued her and have vetted her. It was obvious she came from a very hard past. She does not walk great due to prior injuries and arthritis. But she loves to be in the backyard and does have mini walks each day. See cannot get up or down stairs so she gets carried or lifted for that. She also needs two sets of eye drops each day. She is mostly blind, but can see shadows. She does sleep a lot. Mable loves pets and cuddles from anyone and everyone. Her most special trait is that she sings. When new people come into our home, she sings to them. She is a housetrained and is ... (Read More)a pretty easy going dog for being old. Adopt Mable and she promises to sing for you and sit next to you and cuddle on the couch. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-11-00164Chunky (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

One look at Chunky and his name probably won't be a mystery, but he will immediately win you over with his funny butt wags and sweet disposition. He seems to love everyone he meets, human or dog. He also did not react to cats during his cat test, but was feeling a little under the weather so we can cat test him for you, if you have any feline friends. Although the shelter initially thought he was older a vet tech had a quick look at his pearly white teeth and thinks he is closer to 2-3 years old. Chunky is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
