    This sweet loving old gal is Fanny. She can often be seen snoozing the day away, but don't let that fool you, she still enjoys the finer things in life (mostly of the edible variety!). Fanny in an approx 10 yr old puggle (pug/beagle mix) who was surrendered to a local shelter by her family. She has ongoing medical needs, mostly related to some bad skin. She would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet, low key older dog.

    Big things come in teeny packages with this little mild-mannered lover. Dougie is approximately 4 months old, and weighs just 8 lbs. He is always 2 steps behind his foster mom and his furry foster brother. He loves to snuggle under your chin and give endless kisses. He's a great listener, and gives his undivided attention with his head tilted to the side. Dougie loves to play with toys, tennis balls, and chewing bones through his teething phase. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.     Pug Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Pug is a small, stocky, short-haired dog with a wrinkled face and curled tail. Pugs are spirited and pleasant. Pugs are smart and sensitive and need gentle, consistent training. Pugs are wonderful with children and other pets. Pugs are very well-mannered with guests. This breed needs to be with people and likes to be the center of attention. Pugs do fine in an apartment. This breed needs to be sheltered from extreme temperatures.
