Rescue Me ID: 15-07-27-00259Purdue (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Purdue is an approx. 5 year old brindle Bugg (boston terrier x pug cross), approx. 30 lbs, who will be available for adoption once he is healed from his neuter and we get his diarrhea resolved. Like all brindle bugs we've met he is a true gentleman and very gentle in temperament. He is calm, sweet, gives kisses, house trained (though does occasionally mark still) and comes with his very own humpy pillow. He is more of a sleeper and a cuddler than a player or a doer. He gets along with all my other dogs but seems to prefer the company of humans so I think he would be equally happy as an only dog. If you are interested in Purdue please visit ... Rescue Me ID: 15-06-11-00951Annie (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Annie is about 15 lbs and she LOVES kids!!!! I fostered her for a few weeks and she did wonderful at my house. However, when my other foster got close to having puppies we sent her to another fosters home where she started to show a bit of dominance towards larger female dogs and she went after her fosters 7 week old kitten. We are not sure exactly what was the trigger but she could no longer stay there. While she stayed with me she was around numerous other dogs and cats of all sizes and ages and never once showed any aggression or dominance. Annie is a bit lacking in the manners department an will walk across tables and try and counter ... (Read More)surf. She is also having a few issues with potty training but with time and a family to let her out and get her on a proper schedule I believe she will do fine! Rescue Me ID: 15-06-02-00227Kylie (female)

Pug    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Kylie is a 7 year old pint sized, super happy girl. Kylie has some neurological issues that are treated with daily medication to lessen the severity of the symptoms. She can be very timid of new people or people who approach her too quickly, so a home with small children would not be a good fit for Kylie. She would do best in a home where bathroom breaks are kept consistent and her family was willing to be patient with her and help her learn the routine. She will reward that patience a million times over with her loving personality! If you are interested in Kylie please fill out an application on our website.

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-07-00228Dinky Doolittle (male)

Pug    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Mr. Dinky Doolittle is a happy, go lucky, eight year boy. He is new to his foster home and he is adjusting well with his foster family and their dogs. Mr. Little appears to be newly blind, he was cautious of his new surroundings, but he has quickly learned the floor plan and the lay out of the fenced in yard. Mr. Little has already mastered the five stairs going to the yard which makes him a proud pug! He will also receive a doggie halo which will help him avoid objects and areas with sharp edges. Routine works for me%BD'%BD|My foster Mom keeps my water bowl in my crate so I always know where to quench my thirst. My bed stays in ... (Read More)the same place and my foster Mom and Dad even sit in the same chairs at night! I have had a few accidents and I am working on that. I still need to take care of my business at the vets and then I will be ready for my forever home! Update 5/17/15: Dinky is doing great! He has learned the lay of the land and has memorized his floor plan. He always responds when his name is called, he just follows the sound of his foster families' voices or follows the direction of the family dogs. He can walk up and down a full flight of carpeted stairs without supervision. Dinky loves meal time like all pugs and waits for the sound of the bowl to touch the floor. Dinky's previous owner stated cuddling wasn't his thing and now he loves to lay cheek to cheek with his foster parents. My foster family has a big extended family with lots of dogs and I have run around the yard with all of them. Private message from Dinky: I overheard my foster dad say the other night I was the lowest maintenance dog in our house'| great news I am one out of four! I want my future family to know Dinky is an able pug that just happens to have a disability. Waiting for my forever home!
