Rescue Me ID: 16-05-23-00249Minnie Pearl Precious (female)

Pug    Age: Senior

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Minnie Pearl and Precious are new to rescue and a bonded pair. Minnie is the smaller of the 2 with the lighter face and Precious had the darker markings on her face. Minnie is approx 10 and Precious is approx 8. These ladies are new to rescue, they have been apayed, had dentals, and Minnie has a tumor removed we have sent out for testing. They get along great with other dogs but really stick together and do everything the other does. They came from not very good lives and most likely from a puppy mill, so they still need some work on their housetraining. We will update as we get to know them better.

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-27-00225Melvin (male)

Pug    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Melvin is a pug who came to us from a shelter. We know nothing about his previous life. He is approximately 6 years old. He has a very big curve to his spine and really bad elbows and knees. There is not a surgical intervention that can be done but he will need both injectable and oral joint supplements on-going. He is going to begin swim therapy to see if that helps with his muscle atrophy and helps him to build up some more strength/stability. He is pretty much housetrained, sweet, and loving. He likes other dogs and cats and likes the yard. He will not be allowed to do large flights of stairs. 1-3 stairs would be okay but more ... (Read More)than that, he can't keep his balance and could easily injure himself. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-11-00257Zeb (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

I'm looking for a home for my dachshund mix. (Pug we believe) we decided to get a dog and when we went to pick up his brother we came home with him as well. We were told he had bladder issues as a puppy and surgery to remove stones. We were told he had scar tissue from the surgery which causes him to crouch to pee even when he's done. He does dribble in the house sometimes but is house trained so he will let you know when he needs to go out. he dribbles when he's excited been home alone awhile and needs to go out really bad and sometimes in the mornings before I get him outside. He hasn't pooped inside at all. We were planning on keeping him ... (Read More)so we took his brother to the vet and was going to take him next paycheck but with sick kids car issues and my child's birthday we have not had the extra money or time. So he will need his shots. I have talked to the vet and explained his issues and she said if he had the surgery he needs to be on a RX diet that prevents new stones and dissolves new one but it was $40 for 7.7 pounds and I can't afford that with two kids a dog and a cat so I must rehome my Zeb. We have became so attached to him as he has to us and it breaks my heart but it's what's best for him. Even though I want to be selfish and keep him I can not do that to him. He is such a sweet well behaved little guy. He is fine with my cat when alone but when he's with his brother he will chase her I think to show off in front of his brother lol. He is great with kids he wakes my two up every morning and gets so happy when they get home from school. He will come with his tennis ball which he loves and his kong. Also a brush and his crate. We have been giving him organic ACV in his water which does help but he needs a home who can afford him his cars and his food. He loves car rides cuddling sleeping in my bed his ball his kong and small stuffed animals. He is truly the sweetest dog ever. I prefer him to go to a home with children but as long as he gets spoiled lots of attention and isn't home alone 24/7 and goes to someone who can afford him it's not a must. (Less)

Daisy is an 11 year old pug who was an owner surrender. She is on a medical hold and is actually boarding at the vet's office for a couple weeks.
