Rescue Me ID: 14-09-09-00686Missy (female)
Little 7lb Miss Missy!! She's an adorable, affectionate little 5yr old girl... and she's also completely blind. We don't know why she no longer has her sight at this young age, but it does not affect her in the least! She's a confident girl that loves to go outside and roll in the grass, or play with one of the other small dogs. When inside it doesn't take her long to remember routes and locations of various things... like the water bowl and the cushy beds laying about. She'll also wiggle and wag her way to you as you call her so she can cuddle on your lap. She's fully crate trained and although she'd much prefer to sleep near you, she's also content to take a nap in her crate if she needs to be left alone for any length of time. She'll thrive in a home that allows her to continue being a confident girl.. but of course, with lots of 'carrying around' too! She's also learning to walk on a leash so she can continue to explore with her nose. She should have a home that can spend lots of time with her and will not leave her for more than 4hrs each day. Missy is really a very special little gem and she deserves a special home. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-27-00198Milo (male)
Meet Milo... He's posing for the camera with his adorable, trusting face... not knowing that he had just one day to spare! We were able to get this boy out of a very small, very high kill shelter at literally his very last day.... He is not much more than a year old and is very happy, friendly and playful. He still needs a bit of training but he's a loveable guy so the antics are tolerable. He's a typical pug so he wants to check everything out and he doesn't seem to have a care in the world. He will be a great family addition or a good walking buddy and condo dog companion.

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-24-00167Finnigan (male)
[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Finnigan is a 10-year old Pug Terrier whose foster mom describes him as 'super smart, lots of fun and gets along well with all dogs!' Finnigan loves balls and toys, walks really well on a leash and he is good about sleeping in his crate even though he would MUCH rather sleep in bed with his people! Finnigan is a really smart dog who will make some lucky person a great companion. He has a medical history of seizures, but they are well controlled with Phenobarbital. His slight birth deformity of the front foot does not deter him in any way physically or emotionally. |Rescue Me ID: 14-08-11-00186Piper (female)|
What an adorable girl!! Piper is approx 18mo old, weighs about 35lbs, and she's very sweet... although can be quite shy when first meeting new people. She's a very active girl that loves to go on walks and hikes, and is learning that car rides can also fun and non-stressful. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs so another dog in the home is a must. Piper will do best in a moderately active, adult only home... or kids must be over 12yrs old. She must have a fenced backyard and although she can be trusted home alone for a reasonable amount of time, a home in which she is not left for more than 6hrs would be ideal. Although Piper is awesome with small dogs, no cats for this girl. (Less)

Animal ID: STO-719Libby (female)
Please contact Paula (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about this pet. Lucky, (a Llasa Apso) and Libby (a puggle) tragically ended up in rescue when their owner died suddeny, leaving behind these two beautiful dogs. Lucky is 6 years old; Libby is 5. They will be a wonderful family addition; their prior household included a 12 year old child who adored them. Lucky arrived looking quite the mess, though. In the recent turmoil in his life, no one bothered to brush him and groom him. We couldn't even determine what breed he was: he looked like a dirty dust mop:) Thankfully, one of the groomers at our adoption partner Petco, took little Lucky, disappeared into the grooming salon, and presto! ;A beautiful silky-coated dog appeared, with long golden hair. What a handsome boy! and a busy one! Even though Lucky is 6 years old, he's busy, busy. Always on the go. If you're looking for a lap dog, forget about this one. He has places to go, people to see. He loves people. Libby, the Puggle, loves to chew on bones and rawhides. She holds them carefully between her paws, concentrating very hard on the task at hand. After all, it's 'finders, keepers' in the play yard when a new cripsy chew toy is discovered. Both dogs have been spayed/neutered and are current on their vaccinations (Less)
