Meet Stanley.A happy 2 year old Pug Cavalier Beagle mix looking for his forever home. Stanley is 15 pounds and has moderate energy level.He is very sweet and is looking for someone who will spend time with him on walks and teaching basic commands. Stanley gets along great with his foster brother (a small terrier) and the resident cat. He also loves to snuggle on the couch and provide plenty of doggie kisses but he does also enjoy a good run to show off how fast he is. APPLICATION must be filled out for all inquires and prior to a meet and greet @6dogrees.com. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check and references required prior to adoption approval. Stanley's adoption fee is $575.00 and includes: neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) plus de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. The fee also supports costs for various necessary vet care including special surgeries, quality grain free food, general supplies, grooming, boarding, health certificate and transport cost from California to Seattle. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. All dogs are home fostered in the Seattle area by volunteers. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'save it forward' so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. I am already spayed, house-trained, in need of an experienced dog owner, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs and not good with cats. Tera's Story... Tera is a sweet puggle/lab mix. She's about 11 months old and weighs about 40-45lbs. It was clear when we got her that she had not been socialized well as a puppy. Tara can only be with very mellow, neutral dogs, but no other dogs in the home is best. No dog park for this girl. K9R&R King County Auburn, WA MAP IT!

Pug Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Pug is a small, stocky, short-haired dog with a wrinkled face and curled tail. Pugs are spirited and pleasant. Pugs are smart and sensitive and need gentle, consistent training. Pugs are wonderful with children and other pets. Pugs are very well-mannered with guests. This breed needs to be with people and likes to be the center of attention. Pugs do fine in an apartment. This breed needs to be sheltered from extreme temperatures.
