Rescue Me ID: 17-01-08-00176Blakely (female)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Blakely is just as sweet as she looks. She is laid back, loves people, kids and other dogs. Blakely is a survivor... she had distemper as a puppy and as a result has a little 'hiccup' in her gait. Other than that she is a happy, sweet and very lovable little lady... she would really love a home of her very own. She is affectionate and just about as adorable as they come. She would do well in a laid back home.

    * Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker. Meet Pichi (pronounced Peach-Chi)! I am a 2-year old, 8-pound, spayed brindle female Pug/Chihuahua. My adoption fee is $475. I am a very active girl for my size, and full of happy energy. I love to play and run with other dogs, and if you have a squeaky toy, I will play it like an instrument - I am talented! And while playing is so much fun, I love to get the attention of my people. I know how to sit quietly at your feet and wait for your attention. When I arrived in Seattle, I was very skinny. I am gaining weight, as I am a good eater - but it ... (Read More)all takes time. I will require a grain-free diet to keep me healthy and my coat beautiful. As my coat is very short, I am a wash-and-wear dog; very easy, just give me a quick bath, towel me off, and I am ready to go! I am being fostered with cats - and I really do not mind them, in fact, I ignore them'| I am crate trained, and will not make a peep when I am in my crate - although I would love to sleep on your bed and keep your toes warm. Pichi is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Pichi should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours (she is learning about pottied training). Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Due to my size, I cannot go to a home with children under that age of 10 years old; I will also require a fully fenced yard so that I do not run away. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. The only exception will be in I am adopted by a family in a condo or apartment. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $475. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Domino is a wonderful girl that came to us emaciated, been over bred, kicked, hit and generally treated like crap. She has blossomed under her fosters care and is now ready for her furever home. She's fairly young, DNA on one of her puppies came up as Pug/Pit for her and you can see it in her face but she's amazing. Can you find a place in your heart and home for this girl? She doesn't care much for car rides, noisy places or lots of commotion (adoption events) but she loves a nice long walk and lots of toys to play with. She's crate trained, housebroken even though she grew up tied to a crappy dog house. She's ready, are you??

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Sweet little Daisy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern California. She must have had a very unhappy life before she came to me. She wants to love but is timid - she has come so far! She now plays with my big lab - great with dogs and ignores cats. She sleeps on the bed. She will need time and patience for her to reach her full potential and loving personality and prefers the company of women. She is approximately 3-5 years old - healthy, great appetite and weigh around 11 lbs. With the help of my vet we have determined she is pug/chi mix because of her tail and shape of her face. She is spayed, up to date on shots, micro chipped. ... (Read More)She is house trained and now asks to go out. Daisy is also crate trained. She is a loving lap dog and just wants a quiet patient (preferably female) human. Please consider giving this little sweetheart a forever home. She would do best sharing her new home with another dog to build up her self confidence. And she does not care about cats at all. Daisy so deserves to be spoiled and loved.
