|Rescue Me ID: 15-08-23-00049Jack (male)|
Jack was brought in after the owner's cat started attacking him. He is a clever mix maybe 3 years old.Jack is an AWESOME dog!! He appears to be a Pugeale and prefers to be around people, helping with whatever he can. He also appears to be house trained as he 'holds it' as long as he can. When taken out, he gets his business done as quickly as possible and then is ready to go back in and get to work!! Perfect lap size dog and is super sweet. Please come visit the Ohio County Animal Shelter and get involved helping these sweet babies. Shelter hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10-4; Saturday 10-12. Animal Shelter phone number: 270-298-4499 Animal Control phone number: 270-256-6611. For additional pictures, like our fb page @ https://www.facebook.com/ocanimalshelter (Less)

|Animal ID: 19Bernedette (Bernie) (female)|
Bernadette (Bernie) Chihuahua/Pug Female Approximately 2 years old Bernie is a sweet, scared girl that needs a home of her own. She does great with other dogs and would prefer a home with older children, because little ones tend to scare her. |Rescue Me ID: 15-08-11-00559Chubby (female)|
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] I've had Chubby since 2008. She was a rescue from Nelson County Animal Shelter about 24 hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized. A family member of mine originally had her and was abusing her, so I ended up taking her into my care and have had her since October 31st, 2008. She's very loving and sweet, and very laid back and lazy. She likes to sleep and cuddle and loves being loved on and petted. My living situation has recently changed and I won't be able to keep her much longer and I would rather adopt her out myself than risk taking her to a shelter. As with the other animals I've listed, text or call for more information or to let me know about your interest in the pet. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-08-11-00554Sammy (male)|
Sammy is a senior male pug that I've had since 2010. He had a very rough life and when I got him he had been abandoned at the vet's office with his two sisters. He had trouble with one eye, staff infection in his skin, infested with worms, had a double ear infection, and had to have some teeth removed. I got him fixed and had him vetted until he was healthier, but a year later he had a stroke which in turn caused him to lose his good eye. He can still see well enough to get around, though he is hesitant around stairs. He loves to play, get baths, go outside, and go on long walks with his owner. I love him dearly, and really want to help find him a permanent home for the rest of his life because my living situation has recently changed and I can't keep him any longer. If you're interested and want to know more about Sammy, feel free to text or call the phone number provided. (Texts are usually replied to quicker). (Less)
