|Rescue Me ID: 16-01-15-00663Yoda (male)|
Yoda is a sweet, well behaved pug gentleman that is looking for his very own home to spend the remainder of his years. We believe Yoda to be 8-9 years old. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. This sweet boy was found tied to the fence of a shelter. We believe his former owner abandoned him here because of his hind end weakness. Although he has weakness, Yoda gets around pretty well - almost taking off in a full run! He sure isn't going to let this keep him down! At the rescue we have been keeping a belly band on him and he's doing great with it! He does seem to be able to hold his bowels well throughout the day. Yoda gets along well with people, dogs and cats. He wants to be in the mix of everything going on in the house - so he will make someone a great companion! If you are interested in adopting Yoda please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org Our adoption application can be found at www.celebratingpugs.com Yoda has an adoption fee of $275. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-11-12-00226Britni (female)|
Britni (10 years old) is no stranger to MAPR. Back in 2013 she was a foster and adopted by a great family. Back in June of this year Britni suddenly lost vision and everything changed. Her personality was not the same, she was very upset and her people said she was even showing signs of aggression. Not knowing what to do, if there was anything they could do, they made the difficult decision for her to return to MAPR. She was regularly at the vet over the last 5 months to try to make her feel better. Britni came to her foster home on Saturday and has been having a hard time adjusting. She is constantly running into walls tables and having a hard time learning the lay of the land. Today was the first time she started to relax, show her wonderful personality and even found a good sunspot to rest. When her area coordinator stopped by to drop some supplies off she was ready for kisses, playing with toys and even tried to rip apart a baggie. Britni is a sassy girl! Britni had a dental yesterday and a few other tests were run to make sure nothing else was going on. If all goes well, Britni will be ready for a nice calm home where she can be her sassy self in a few weeks. She would love to be an only pup where she will be spoiled rotten and can have all the attention to herself! If you are interested in adopting please visit our website and fill out an application. |Rescue Me ID: 15-03-03-00109Gussie (female)|
Meet Gussie. Gussie is a sweet 11 year old girl who has made herself right at home. She is very happy to be around another dog she's ok with the cat too. She accepts her foster brother sniffing and more than gives it back. She will chase my boy around. Her back legs do drag. She can't jump up in the couch but has no problems with steps if she takes her time. Because of her backend issues she is fecal incontinent and will need to be in diapers. Gussie loves nothing more then to snuggle up and take a nap with her people. She is a funny girl with lots of personality!
