Pug Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Moira in ancient Greek terms means the personification of fate or destiny. This sweetheart is destined to be someone's forever lovebug. She is a 7 - 8-year-old pug mix and weighs about 23 pounds. She is mixed with a longer hair breed such as a poodle so she will require grooming from time to time. (Approx. every 2-3 months) Sweet Moira does have a thyroid condition that means that she will need a thyroid medication daily but this is generally less than $10 monthly and is easy peasy. Moira doesn't really care to share your love and attention with other dogs but she will tolerate them as long as they agree to leave her alone. If they get ... (Read More)pushy she will growl. In fact, this girly likes to express herself with her growly voice. She has even been known to tell her foster mom when it's time for bed or meals. Moira loves children of all ages. She even does well with cats. She is a little chunky due to her thyroid condition but she is learning to walk on leash and enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood. Her foster mom reports that she is a super 'cuddler' and really lives to be a lap dog. If you're looking for an adorable little dog to just lay with you and enjoy life, this is your girl. Moiras adoption fee is $350. She has been vaccinated, had a dental, wormed, micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm tested negative and he is current of flea/tick and heart worm prevention. House trained and crate trained although there hasn't been a reason to crate her. She does have a crate and a bed that will follow her into her forever home to help with her transition. Rescue Me ID: 17-08-08-00461Sheeba (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Beautiful Sheeba! The Hebrew meaning of the name 'Sheeba' is 'promise', and this Sheeba promises to be a faithful, loving companion. This gorgeous 10-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug mix weighs about 15 pounds. She has cataracts that have caused her to lose most of her vision but her hearing and her sense of smell certainly make up for it. She hasn't had any trouble navigating her foster home. Sheeba does well with cats and LOVES children. She is caught often napping with her foster family's one-year old. While she spends most of her time curled up with you watching tv or reading she still has plenty of spunk left in her. Sheeba enjoys sleeping ... (Read More)in bed with her human and will spend time in her own little bed while you are busy. She does have a little trouble getting down open stairs but once taken down the stairs of the family deck she will take care of business and come bouncing back up the stairs to come back in. Sheeba is NOT a big barker unless it is to welcome you home after you have been gone. Oddly enough for a pug, she LOVES baths. This darling older lady wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life with a family of her own. She has many, many good years left. The adoption fee for Sheeba is $275. Sheeba is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. It will be important to keep her on a grain free diet due to allergies but this is readily available. Rescue Me ID: 17-06-16-00528Louie (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Senior

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi guys! My name is Louie! This isn't my first time here at MAPR. I was originally here 8 years ago and now I am back. I am an 11 year old puggle who is still as spry as a pup. I've got some traits of a pug, I am all velcro, wherever you go, I go! Of course I have traits of a beagle which include separation anxiety. When you are home I am super relaxed and laid back, but my foster mom is working on getting my anxiety in check with my new vet. I love long walks and giving kisses. I would love it if I could find someone who wouldn't leave me for long periods of time and doesn't have young children. I am fully vetted and had a dental so all I ... Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Sabrina. This very sweet, loving girl is a Pug/Jack Russel mix. She is approximately 2 years old, about 28 pounds and house trained. This sweet girl is a little timid and shy at first, but once she's given a little time to warm up to you she is quite the lover. She does not really do well in a crate so foster mom suggests leaving her in a gated area when you have to be gone. (i.e. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom) Sabrina adores children and could play all day with chew toys. She is not very good with other dogs because she gets very protective of her person. Sabrina craves attention and love and wants to soak it all up on her own. Her ... (Read More)current foster is unsure about cats because there aren't any in the home.
