    Pepe (LaPew) came to us from a municipal shelter in the Tri Cities. He is an adorable little 7 year young Chihuahua guy with a slight over bite that makes his face so darn cute. he is very friendly and very smart and is the favorite of the shelter he came from and our shelter too. He is just so well behaved and so easy to be with. He will make a great family pet for the lucky people chosen to be his forever home. He has a very unfortunate past that would make even the hardest people cry in sympathy. He was with his owner when the owner decided to commit suicide.     Chloe is a pug mix with possibly Chihuahua. She comes to us from a rescue group in Colorado who receives dogs from other municipal shelters that are not claimed by owners and may not make it as a result. She is an adorable little girl who loves to see people coming towards her with a leash. She does not seem to like people to make sudden moves towards her and wants to get to know people before they start to touch and cuddle with her.     Pug Dogs can make good pets in Montana if they match your IifestyIe. The Pug is a small, stocky, short-haired dog with a wrinkled face and curled tail. Pugs are spirited and pleasant. Pugs are smart and sensitive and need gentle, consistent training. Pugs are wonderful with children and other pets. Pugs are very well-mannered with guests. This breed needs to be with people and likes to be the center of attention. Pugs do fine in an apartment. This breed needs to be sheltered from extreme temperatures.
