|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-31-00366Rocky (male)|
Rocky is a Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix)who is about 8 years old. He loves children and adults who understand he needs his own space sometimes. I adopted Rocky from a shelter when he was a little over a year old. He is house trained and clicker trained to 'sit', 'stay', 'leave it' and 'gentle'. He is a lap dog and will cry if he can't snuggle with his humans at night. Rocky and cats don't mix well. Rocky has shown aggressive behavior at fences and windows, but when on walks on/off leash he is very social with humans. My husband and I plan to start a family and because of Rocky's behavior at windows and fences, we do not feel comfortable having him around a baby. We have tried and have been unsuccessful at addressing these behaviors, but believe a professional trainer could help. Rocky has a high energy level and needs exercise. Rocky would be good for a family with older children to play with him outside a fenced yard or an active adult to take him for walks daily. He tends to run and want to play when he gets out of the yard, but comes home as long as you don't chase him (he thinks it's a game if you chase him). A country home with fields would be best for him without cows or horses (he likes to chase them). I have two requirements: First, if Rocky is not a good fit with his new home, that he be returned to us and not placed in a shelter. He is a good dog and deserves a good home. If it does not work out and he is returned to us in good health, I will refund the adoption fee. Second, I would like to meet with the new owners and see the condition of the house before I release Rocky. We want to make sure he goes to a good home. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-07-23-00866Cindy (female)|
Little Cindy came to TRACS as a very pregnant girl of about 2 years of age. She had her babies on May 1 and was an excellent momma. They have now been adopted and Cindy is looking for her new and permanent home. She is a cute mixture of what appears to be pug (body) and fox terrier face and head. She has a very curly tail and looks from behind like a pug, then she turns around and you see terrier. Her babies were all different and some looked like sheltie and some like pom terriers. She is now spayed and fully vaccinated and microchipped, so she is ready for that new home. She is extremely protective of her space and loves her people, but is not fond of meeting new people or new dogs, so she would make a great watch dog. She definitely bonds to her person and loves to be held, loved, and petted, but it will take a little time to get her there with her new owners.
