Rescue Me ID: 17-10-09-00133Mugsy (male)

Pug    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Mugsy is estimated to be a 4 years old neutered male. He weighs a little under 25 pounds, solid and strong. Mugsy truly is a Velcro pug, and would make a great companion to some lucky family. His personality is really starting to shine. He is very vocal and does love to bark, so he'd make a great watch dog. Mugsy is totally potty trained, and has not had a single accident in his foster home. This little ball of energy loves to run, so he is crate trained for when his family is gone. He would enjoy a family to run with him, or have a yard for him to run around in. Because he is a runner he new family needs to be aware he will take off on ... (Read More)them. That being said, he has a new harness, for his own protection. We would not trust him with just a collar, he will get out of it and RUN. Some of his likes are going on walks, snuggling with people, and chewing rubber nylabones. He does hate getting his nails trimmed, like most pugs do. Even though he is full of energy he is a very slow eater, but he finishes every morsel. Mugsy was purchased through a Craigslist post, and the rescue has updated him on all his vaccines and heartworm preventatives. If you have room in your heart and home for Mugsy please fill out an application at www.pughugs.org/adoptable-pugs (Less)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Buddy is a 3 yr. old, 27 lb., Puggle looking for his forever home. He was an owner surrender because they could no longer care for him. He is great with people, kids, other dogs and cats. He can be food aggressive with other dogs so he needs to be fed separately if you have another dog. He does have a Beagle bark which is very high pitched, so apartment living may not work for him. He pulls on a leash so he would need more training on that. He does like to run so a fenced in yard would work best. He is housebroke and crate trained. He is completely vetted and his adoption fee is $300.00. If you are interested in adopting him, call Maureen at ... (Read More)608-356-9683. (Less)
