Buddy is the laid back guy who can take things as they come. Well, except for staying by himself for extended periods; that makes him a bit nervous. He would like a home with Minnie or another dog to keep him company and a human who doesn't go to work all day! Just mention 'car ride' or 'walk' and he will come running from any corner! Everybody likes Buddy; he's lived with kids and other dogs. He lets you know if he has to go out - what a good boy! Buddy is 8 yrs old and will be fully vetted for an approved adopter. His adoption fee is $250 - and of course, there is a $ incentive to adopt Buddy AND Minnie together. Please find our adoption ... (Read More)application at www.ruffluckdogrescue.com. (Less)

PLEASE VISIT WWW.PUGHUGS.ORG FOR MORE INFO! Hola! My name is Penny. I am an 18-pound, 10-year old female pug mix. With my slim, athletic, tiny build and frisky nature, the pug panel of experts is convinced I am a CHUG - a pug chihuahua. I came from a bad situation where I was unsure and scared all the time, but with the love, kindness and patience of my foster family, I'm now a happy girl, active and playful as a puppy! My turn-ons include squeaky toys, car rides, walks, fenced-in yards for me to play in, and snuggling with my people on the couch or next to you as you sleep in bed. My turn-offs are weirdos knocking at the door, little ... (Read More)kids who can really hurt me if they pick me up and drop me, cages and crates, and non-mellow dogs who won't let me have a lot of lovey-time with the humans. I am a great little watch dog, a true lady when it comes to knowing where to do my business, and want nothing more than to be some lucky family's little tan shadow. Due to her small size, Penny would do best in a home with older children or adults. She gets along well with her pug foster brother and sister, but it took a little while for the new pug crew to get used to each other. As with any blended dog family, a little patience while everyone gets acclimated is important! We think Penny would like a home where she is the only dog or the other dogs are, like, chill and let her be her high-energy, cuddly little self. Penny is good with cats so a feline-friendly household would also be a good fit! Penny's adoption donation is $250. (Less)

They say the eyes are the windows to our souls. If this is the case just look into the eyes of these two bonded puggles, Rocky and Missy, and you will see two sweet and loving souls just looking for their forever family to love and snuggle with every day forever and ever! Rocky is nine years old and Missy is seven years old and they are pug/beagle mixes. They came into our rescue due to the owner's inability to take care of them. Due to their strong bond we are asking that they are adopted together so they can continue to love each other as well as their forever family. These two will surely give you twice the happiness and companionship as ... (Read More)one! Both Rocky and Missy have proven to be good with other dogs and children, but have not yet been tested with cats. Their mild temperaments and ability to adjust to changing routines and atmospheres suggests they will do well in any healthy, safe and loving environment. As with all of our rescues, we make sure that they are vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed and/or neutered and veterinarian cleared prior to putting them up for adoption and these two sweeties are ready to go! How can anyone resist those faces! The pair's adoption donation fee is $400. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-07-00192Buddy (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Buddy is a 3 yr. old, 27 lb., Puggle looking for his forever home. He was an owner surrender because they could no longer care for him. He is great with people, kids, other dogs and cats. He can be food aggressive with other dogs so he needs to be fed separately if you have another dog. He does have a Beagle bark which is very high pitched,so apartment living may not work for him. He pulls on a leash so he would need more training on that. He does like to run so a fenced in yard would work best. He is completely vetted and his adoption fee is $300.00. If you are interested in adopting him, call Maureen at 608-356-9683.
